About The Market
The Milan Farmers’ Market strives to provide a place for the community to purchase fresh, local, agricultural products and to offer an outlet for growers and producers to realize an economic gain from the sale of local produce.
The previous Market broke ground in Fall 2014 just behind Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken in Milan, Tenn. Construction was completed, and the pavilion opened to the public in Summer 2015, featuring local farmers and vendors, selling locally-grown produce, baked goods, jams, jellies, sauces and more.
Since then, the City of Milan, along with the ACHIEVE Team/Mayor's Health Council, has continued work on growing its Farmers' Market as part of their overall goal of making Milan a healthier community.
The City has taken over the daily operations of the Market at the request of the previous owner and has now moved the Milan Farmers' Market to a location behind City Hall.
Since the transfer of new management, we have grown our vendor list to include local entrepreneurs who wish to take advantage of the ideal environment to kick-start their business and showcase their talents and wares.
